FAQ 2005
What is a blog?
For all practical purposes, a blog, or Weblog, is simply a website that is frequently updated. Like many blogs, Talking Retirement provides summaries of, and links to, content that is published on other sites.
How do I use the site?
If you are puzzled about how to navigate this site, visit the How To Use This Site section. A few tips:
- Newer content is at the top of the page
- Most entries are summaries of news stories that appear on other sites
- Links within those entries will often take you to those other sites
- You must register to post comments on stories
Why do I need to register to post a comment?
Two reasons. First, for the protection of our community. Talking Retirement uses this information to identify users who post comments prohibited by our terms and conditions of use. Secondly, it helps us keep track of how many unique users we have, which makes us more attractive to advertisers. And advertisers help us defray the cost of operating the site (or will, one day, we hope) . For more information on how we use data, please read our Privacy Policy. A link to the Privacy Policy is located at the bottom of every page on the site.
Who owns Talking Retirement?
Talking Retirement is published by Talking Retirement LLC, a privately-held company. Talking Retirement LLC was founded in 2005 by John Morton and Bruce Henderson.
